Trichophagia

Trichophagia tends to develop as an "extension" of trichotillomania. It can also occur without hair pulling being the primary behavior since some people will just chew and swallow the hair while it is still attached to their scalp (different than people that just suck on their hair). Although this differs with the common symptoms of trich where the person generally wants to pull the hair out with their fingers or tweezers first and then eat it, it still resembles some form of the disorder.
