Screamed at the top of my lungs,
While everybody ignored.
My soul's been broken so many times
Never to be restored.
I've hit rock bottom,
In a world as cold as steal,
I stand in darkness, the emptiness,
Where there's confusion between fake and real.
The past hits the present,
They are forever to be entwined,
The future faded long ago
To darkness we are resigned.
But we have fallen to solid rock
No lower can we go,
Above us is light and hope,
Which one day we may know.
